NORMAN SPIRIT
The Norman Spirit is a rapid and up-to-date ferry. Fitted with stabilizers, it provides optimal comfort whatever the sailing conditions. It can reach speeds of up to 21 knots and has a capacity of 1850 passengers, 250 cars and 75 lorries.
On board you’ll find restaurants, cafeterias and a pub. There is ample comfortable seating and a refined but friendly atmosphere our three exclusive lounges. You’ll also find kids’ areas, internet access, a games room/ arcade, private cabins and opportunities for shopping on board. With a real quality of service, the pleasure begins from the moment you board the ship.*

"Bistro du Norman" Self-service Restaurant
Enjoy all the pleasures of fish and chips in a warm and festive atmosphere.
"Blue Mountain Café Express" Coffee Lounge
Relax and enjoy the trip while you savour a rich coffee blend, fruit juice or cold beer in this cosy setting.
"Dirty Duck" Pub
This a great spot to chat over a beer or cocktail before testing your skill in a video game or trying your luck on the slot machines in the nearby "Lucky Duck".
"Cotton Club"
"Luxury and tranquility". The refined atmosphere of this bar with its leather sofas and plush reclining armchairs is an invitation to read at your leisure, or simply dwell on the marine vista, while savouring a well-aged brandy or sophisticated cocktail.
Accommodation
comfortable cabins:
For your comfort and a restful journey, the Norman Spirit offers a range of 80 highly comfortable cabins (fresh bedding, sheets, blankets and air conditioning).
- 59 en suite cabins are equipped with a vanity room, shower and toilet (8 single window cabins, 9 four berth window cabins and 42 inside two berth cabins).
- 20 newly built four berth cabins, all with easy access to nearby toilets and showers.
- 1 en suite disabled cabin consisting of one bed and two berths.*

Standard seats:
The Norman Spirit proposes brand new standard seats. Velvet, arm-rests and progressive pivot-angle adjustment… Stretch out and relax, abandon yourself to the ultimate in well-being. Large and generously spaced, the Standard seats live up to their promise of exceptional comfort within small lounges.
Lounges:
The Norman Spirit has three large lounges furnished with very comfortable armchairs, as well as a variety of restaurant and leisure facilities.
Velvet Lounge and Tweed Lounge, refinement and lots of space. 200 seats await you for a crossing so relaxing that it’s likely to seem too short. A quiet and refined atmosphere, with a decor of softly toned velvet. Perfection in design, generosity of space. Close your eyes, you’ll feel wonderful!
Horizon Lounge, real comfort from all points of view Furnished with 450 seats, it provides an ideal degree of comfort. Arranged in rows of a maximum of two, all armchairs have direct access to an aisle, so you avoid being disturbed by your neighbours. Very spacious, they allow you to rest or sleep in excellent conditions, whatever your size!
Shopping
Treat yourself to something special. On board our ships you will find an extensive range of specially selected alcohols, tobaccos, perfumes, toys, books, cameras and chocolates, as well as a host of other wonderful gift ideas. Daily newspapers are also available for your convenience.
Kids area
At LD Lines we hope to make your journey as smooth and enjoyable as possible. For this reason, on board our ships a number of areas have been set aside especially for children. Little ones can let off steam in our brightly-coloured play-zones while video games and cartoons will keep the older ones entertained. This way, travelling is fun for everyone!
